Originally from Vienna, VA, Dr. Cherney graduated from VCU’s dental school and furthered her education in an Advanced Education of General Dentistry program in North Carolina. Back in Richmond, she delights in exploring new restaurants, playing tennis, and engaging in jigsaw puzzles. Dr. Cherney finds joy in merging the art and science of dentistry to restore smiles.

Since July 2017 Scott has been providing dental care in Sandston, and he is excited about continuing to see patients in the area with Seven Pines Dental Group.

Dr. Bokinsky worked in private practice for 4 years and is currently working with the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residents at the VCU School of Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Bokinsky enjoys spending time outside with his family and many pets.

Dr. Raidah Hudson attended the University of Richmond and and earned a degree in Chemistry. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987. She has provided care in the east end in solo private practice for many years.
MECHANICSVILLE LOCATION
Dr. Nekki Soltanian, founder of Glowing Smiles Dentistry, earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University. Passionate about advancing dental technology and enhancing patient care, she also gives back to her community through initiatives like Give Kids A Smile. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with loved ones. Dr. Soltanian is proud to join the Seven Pines Dental team.
MECHANICSVILLE LOCATION
Dr. McAndrew is a Posthodontist , a dental specialist, focusing her practice on prosthodontics, dental implants, Oral/Esthetic reconstruction, oral cancer and syndromic care, geriatric oral care, dentures and partial dentures, crowns, and veneers. Her expertise lies in the many wonderful patients she has treated over the years. Dr. Karen McAndrew attended the prestigious University of Pennsylvania where she received her D.M.D. degree and graduated with OKU honors. Upon completion of her dental degree, her interest in prosthodontics led her to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she completed her specialty training and earned her specialty certification and Master of Science degree in Prosthodontics. Year after year, Dr. McAndrew’s expertise has been honored with recognition of many awards for Top Prosthodontist, Top Cosmetic Dentist, Top Dentist, Best Bedside manner.
Dr. McAndrew’s passion for educating the next generation of dentists follows that she served on the faculty at VCU School of Dentistry in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the department of Periodontics. She recently held a full-time position at VCU School of Dentistry in the Division of Prosthodontics as an Associate Professor and Director of Implant Dentistry. She has twice been named as the Part Time faculty of the year and recognized as top Prosthodontist faculty by the national ADEA organization.
Her passion for philanthropy led her to multiple Mission of Mercy (MOM) projects and care for patients through the Donated Dental Services program and Give Kids a Smile. She founded the “Denture Dream Team” for the MOM project in Wise County, Virginia and was awarded the VDA presidential citation for her works.
Dr. McAndrew is a military mom who loves spending her free time with her wonderful husband and extraordinary son. She is an avid bee keeper and enjoys gardening, raising orchids, and traveling whenever she can to warm areas with the sand in her toes.
In 1986, upon earning her BS degree in Dental Hygiene from the VCU School of Dentistry, Kathy joined the practice with Dr. Jim Smith. To this day, she considers her role as hygienist with this group as one of her biggest blessings in life. Delivering dental care to so many patients and forming lifelong relationships along the way. Oral health and the connection to overall health is still a fascinating and important study to her.
Over the years she has enjoyed watching the practice grow to 3 locations, allowing Seven Pines to provide dental care to even more people. After practicing dental hygiene for over 35 years, she now serves as the Director of Operations for Seven Pines Dental Group.
Kathy grew up in Mechanicsville and continues to reside there with her husband, Glenn. She has 2 children and one grandson.
April joined Seven Pines Dental Group in 2018 and has served in several roles during her tenure. She is currently the Director of Finance and enjoys the business side of dentistry. Before joining Seven Pines, April worked in the dental field for 14 years and was a business owner. She resides in Hanover County with her husband and together they have five grown children. Traveling and exploring new places is a passion she enjoys.
